Darin about the new album: "Nervous - not nervous"

After the "Så Mycket Bättre" success - now Darin's own music is about to take over the charts again. And he does it with a brand new fanbase.
- I feel like I can reach more people, those who did not have a good eye on me can get interested, says Darin.

"Exit" is released on January 30th and it was written in New York by Darin. Yesterday the premiere, he played the new album for the professionals and the press, and made ​​three songs live in very soft versions with very few instruments.

- It felt good. The album is both danceable and midtempo, there's something about both styles. But you will recognize the melodies, which I love, says Darin.


HE'S BOTH YOUNG AND OLDER NOW
Above all, he hopes that his faithful fans will like the new stuff - but he also has a new and wider audience after the success of his interpretations in "Så Mycket Bättre".


- More have probably got an eye on me, absolutely. It feels both young and old now, it has grown up in a few years too but maybe more through the program, says Darin.

HE HASN'T HAD TIME TO MEET MAYA MUCH
How is it with you and Maja Ivarsson now, anyway?
- We haven't seen so much yet, but we are friends.
Darin now looks strained forward album release.
- I'm a little nervous, but not nervous. I'm very happy with the result so it will be fun to get out there, he says.

A TOUR IN APRIL
Darin Zanyar, 25, grew up in Vällingby, outside Stockholm. He was second in the first edition of Idol in 2004 and four in his Melodifestivalen debut in 2010.
Darin's sixth album, "Exit", is out on January 30th. The album includes songs recorded in Philadelphia and Los Angeles with American hitmakers.

There is rumour about some festival appearances this summer but so far, Darin's upcoming tour consists of only three dates in Sweden: 17/4 Stockholm, 18/4 Gothenburg, 19/4 Malmö.
